As time goes by, evolution is a constant thing in our lives. Media as a whole seems to evolve at an extremely fast rate. No matter what type of media is it, it just continues to evolve. One thing that is the same no matter what kind of evolution takes place in media is that the older media or traditional media which consisted of television broadcast, radio's, newspapers, books, and magazines. With these traditional forms of media, it was able to create the stable of what we call social media today. An example used in the reading we had to read is how our phones still have the shutter sound feature in the camera’ which the shutter feature was in traditional camera. This was added into digital phones as well as cell phones to help the user know when they are taking a photo. Another example of a media that was kind of influenced by traditional media was media such as digital content like books and magazines. Media will continue to evolve but in the process will continue to take roots from the traditional media that was the stable of social media.

  1. I completely agree with your post. Media will continue to evolve as the years go by mainly due to technology advancing. Technology allows us to capture and post events at an instant allowing people to discuss about what's important to them. Posting videos and images to social media sites and forums online allows people to come together and provide their own opinon about topics.

  2. I agree with most of what you said in your post and enjoyed your evaluation. Media is always evolving and you were right in saying that it does so in a fast rate. But this thing is being that it needs a beginning point and that is where traditional media. Media that we see today is basically just traditional media that has been built on and improved. So it is no shock that there are remnants of traditional media that can be found in media today. Like shutter sound of the phone that you mentioned.
